In other news, did any of you feel like the Memorial Day weekend just WHOOSHED by? Despite having some journalism work hanging over me, I tried to find patches of time for family, friends, dog, pool and barbecues, to welcome 
summetime. Now my precious children have 13 days of school left (and one of them — today — is almost over), and I have my Refuge manuscript back from Jessica with QUITE A FEW notes. So, of course, I’ll be going to a revision cave for a while before the summer hits full-force and my darling kids are home wanting to swim, wanting ice cream, wanting their maaaamaaaaaa!!!
Despite all the craziness looming before me, The Magic Mirror has some cool new stuff planned for the summer:
a) starting a new book list!
b) LOTS more reviews and giveaways!!
c) a recoup of the New Jersey annual SCBWI conference, which I will be attending this weekend! Yay!!!
