So just came back from Orlando, Florida, with lovely family. My favorite ride in all the parks: Harry Potter’s broomstick journey through Hogwarts and beyond.
I kept thinking how amazing it is that a single mortal’s imagination resulted in something so tangible.. a cobblestone street for millions of people to walk along . . . bottles of pumpkin juice and butterbeer for sale . . . a snaking line of vacationers waiting for an entry into a wand shop, as though they really are selling magic there. But then again, maybe they are.
On another note, upon my return one of the first things I had to do was pick out the giveaway winner.
