I can’t believe it!
Did I just return yesterday?
When I think about it logically, and trace the dates back, it sounds right. Mostly though, all the days are still kind of jumbled up together. Am I dreaming or something?
No, I can’t be. Because I’m more awake than I have been in a while.
Yes, Vermont was that amazing.
It surpassed my every expectation.
Turns out, my friend Patti Brown was right. Vermont College of Fine Arts really IS the perfect place for me.
I planned a couple of blog posts to share with you in the next month or so about some of what I have learned, some of my adventures. It’d be impossible to cover even a quarter of it all, and I’m too busy with homework to even try. But I did take some notes for you. Just please continue being patient with me in the next few weeks (months) — really, in the next two years 🙂
And hang in there 31-minute challenge participants. I thank you for the guest posts (two more coming up soon from Dori Stone and her husband Jim!) And thank you for the continued thanks and emails. I’m sorry if I can’t always answer it quickly. They do mean so much, I swear! I’m so glad it’s working for you — for those of you still writing every day, that is.
Personally, I haven’t actually been writing every day. But taking into consideration the lectures and the workshops and the thinking, the new ideas, the occasional writing exercise — I did work hard on my writing even on the days I didn’t compose my own prose. (And I did make sure to write/think/read critically — with notes — while traveling.)
What I am trying to say is:  yes, I am still doing this with you.
More soon!
Katia
